Flight Operations Summary

Significant Spacecraft Anomalies: (The following are preliminary reports
of potential non-nominal performance that will be investigated.)

HSTARs:
12932 - SCI: Unrecoverable Science Data@199/2001z
The science dump on 199/19:53:31z contained data which was unrecoverable. The affected observation
(STIS 6) was expected to have 4349 packets but Pacor only received 4316 for a total of 33 missing
packets. A redump was ordered for this observation but problem was duplicated in the redump as well
and the packets remained unrecoverable. The STScI was notified and the data was delivered as is.

This problem occurred again on the 200/04:06:31 science dump. This time, STIS 13 had 36
unrecoverable packets (Expected: 4349, Received: 4314). The time of the error was at 200/04:43:47.
As with STIS 6, a redump was ordered for this observation but problem was duplicated in the redump
as well and the packets remained unrecoverable. The STScI was notified and the data was delivered
as is.
