Dear wind product user,
Since the resumption of the ASCAT service after the out of plane manoeuvre this morning, we are unable to compute winds in the descending Metop passes. This is due to an issue in the Level 1 backscatter data. In the ascending Metop passes there seems to be no problem and we obtain good quality winds. EUMETSAT is investigating the issue.
Best regards,
Anton Verhoef
