On Tuesday the Librarian of Congress named our friend and former Chief Historian Steve Dick as the Blumberg Chair in Astrobiology.  As you will see from the press release (http://www.loc.gov/today/pr/2013/13-083.html ) Steve has been pretty busy in his "retirement."  In addition to congratulating him, we wish him every success in his new post (starting in November).  

We also congratulate David Grinspoon – who has been serving as the first Blumberg Chair.  Thanks for your contributions as the Blumberg Chair and best wishes for continued success.
