The user guide and web portal dataset description have been updated for this dataset in response to some issues recently discovered by experts in the ocean vector wind community. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the Principal Investigator of this dataset, Dr. Barry Vanhoff, is no longer affiliated with Oregon State University and has discontinued his involvement with this dataset. The original Co-Investigator Dr. Ted Strub of Oregon State University has officially taken over as the Principal Investigator.
