NASA has exercised the second option of its Engineering and Scientific Services Contract with Vantage Partners, LLC, of Lanham, Maryland. Vantage Partners provides engineering and scientific support services to the agency's Glenn Research Center in Cleveland.

The current potential value of the contract is $231 million, which includes the approximately $46 million one-year option that starts Oct. 1. The cost plus fixed-fee contract with a cost plus award fee, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity portion carries another option period to begin in October 2015, if exercised.

Vantage Partners fulfills requirements that support the aeronautics and space exploration work conducted at Glenn, and includes delivering engineering products ranging from initial concepts through complete flight systems.
