Group for High Resolution Sea Surface Temperature (GHRSST) Level 2P datasets produced by the NOAA Office of Satellite and Product Operation (OSPO) for a number of different sensors and platforms are now available. The datasets include geostationary SST observations from the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES-13 and GOES-15), the European Meteosat Second Generation 3 (MSG03), and the Japanese Multi-functional Transport Satellite 2 (MTSAT2). Also included are SST data from the polar orbiting Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) sensor on the NPP platform. These datasets are in the GHRSST GDS2 netCDF4 format.
