Partial Data Outage:

On Wednesday, December 11, 2013, between the hours of 8:00am and 12:00noon MST, SWPC will experience a partial data outage during a test of its newly installed backup site. The backup site and its testing are critical to ensure that space weather data and products will continue to be disseminated if there is an outage at our primary facility. 

At this time NOAA does not have the capability to receive raw GOES space weather data from NESDIS at our Alternate Processing Site. During the test, we expect all of our data and products to be available with the exception of those related to GOES. 

Thank you for your patience as we work to ensure to provide the most robust service to our customers. Note that in the event of active space weather, the test will be rescheduled.
