SPACE WEATHER ADVISORY OUTLOOK #15-33

**** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK ****

Summary For August 10-16

G1 (minor) and G2 (moderate) geomagnetic storms were observed on 15 and 16 August. G3 (strong) geomagnetic storms were also observed on 15 August. This activity was due to effects from a coronal mass ejection (CME) that left the Sun on 12 August.

Outlook For August 17-23

G1 (minor) geomagnetic storms are likely on 17 August due to effects from a positive polarity coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS).
