The following message has been forwarded to all registered PO.DAAC users on behalf of the Surface Water & Ocean Topography (SWOT) Applications Working Group. Please direct all related inquiries to https://swot.jpl.nasa.gov/feedback/index.cfm?space=holder&.

Dear Colleague,

The Surface Water & Ocean Topography (SWOT) mission brings together the hydrology and oceanography communities focused on a better understanding of the world's oceans and its terrestrial surface waters. The U.S. and France, along with their international partners have joined forces to develop this new space mission to make the first global survey of Earth's surface water, observe the fine details of the ocean's surface topography, and measure how water bodies change over time.

If you feel that future SWOT data products may support your operational, research or organizational needs, you are invited to visit the SWOT Applications web site at http://swot.jpl.nasa.gov/applications. At that location you will also find a survey which will take about 10 minutes to fill out and will help us assess needs of potential SWOT data users. Please visit the SWOT Applications web page to access this survey. Your inputs are important for the development of the SWOT Applications efforts and we appreciate your help!
