LOST ASTEROID RETURNS TO EARTH: Eight years ago, astronomers lost a near-Earth asteroid. They just found it. The space rock, named 2010 WC9, is approaching Earth for a close encounter on Tuesday, May 15th. There's no danger of a collision, but the ~100 meter wide asteroid will be near enough for amateur astronomers to photograph. Visit today's edition of Spaceweather.com for the full story.
