NASA History Listserv readers:

The latest in our ongoing series of brown bag talks will be Wednesday, February 6.  Dr. Michelle Grisé, a Rand Corporation policy researcher, will talk about “Rockets for Peace? The Origins and Evolution of the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO).”  In June 1962, Pakistan became the third “Asian space power.”  She will discuss the critical role played by NASA in promoting space research in Pakistan and key instances of U.S. and European collaboration with Pakistani space scientists.

Dr. Grisé’s talk will be held at NASA HQ in MIC3A and will not be Webcast.  If you are not a NASA employee and would like to attend, please contact Ms. Nadine Andreassen (202-358-0087; nadine.j.andreassen@nasa.gov) ahead of time.

Thanks very much for your interest.
