NATO Deputy Secretary General to visit Germany

NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ms. Rose Gottemoeller will travel to Berlin on Thursday, 26 and Friday, 27 September 2019.

On 26 September, Ms. Gottemoeller will deliver a keynote address at an event by RAND Europe /German Marshall Fund (GMF) of the United States entitled “Security Through Deterrence: A Need for New Vision”. She will also participate in a high-level roundtable discussion hosted by the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP).

On 27 September, the Deputy Secretary General has been invited by the Foreign Policy Chairpersons of the Parliamentary Groups of CDU/CSU and SPD for a conversation with the relevant Members of Parliament in charge of Foreign and Defence Affairs of both groups at the German Bundestag.

During her visit she will also have meetings with high level officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Defence.

Visite de la secrétaire générale déléguée de l'OTAN en Allemagne

La secrétaire générale déléguée de l’OTAN, Mme Rose Gottemoeller, sera en visite à Berlin les jeudi 26 et vendredi 27 septembre 2019.

Le premier jour, Mme Gottemoeller prononcera un discours d’ouverture à la conférence « Security Through Deterrence: A Need for New Vision », qui se tiendra sous les auspices de RAND Europe et du German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF). Elle participera aussi à une table ronde de haut niveau organisée par la Société allemande pour la politique étrangère (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auswärtige Politik – DGAP).

Le 27 septembre, à l’invitation des responsables « politique étrangère » des groupes parlementaires CDU/CSU et SPD, la secrétaire générale déléguée s’entretiendra au Bundestag avec les députés chargés des questions de politique étrangère et de défense au sein de ces deux groupes.

Au cours de sa visite, Mme Gottemoeller rencontrera également des hauts responsables du ministère des Affaires étrangères et du ministère de la Défense.
