The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the public release of the Oceans Melting Greenland (OMG) OMG GLacier and Land Ice Surface Topography Interferometer Airborne (GLISTIN-A) Glacial Elevations Level 3 (L3) Version 1 dataset. More information regarding OMG is available from its project website and also via PO.DAAC’s mission webpage.

The dataset comprising this release includes 50m horizontal resolution gridded Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) of Greenland Ice Sheet outlet glaciers collected during 2016 to 2019 using GLISTIN-A radar measured surface elevations around the periphery of the Greenland Ice Sheet using Ka-Band (8.4 mm wavelength) single-pass interferometry. The data are in netCDF with CF conventions and include coordinates for the UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) projection.

This dataset is described and discoverable via the PO.DAAC data portal.
