NATO Deputy Secretary General at the Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence (online)

On Friday 12 March 2021, the NATO Deputy Secretary General, Mr. Mircea Geoană will take part in the annual Ottawa Conference on Security and Defence.

The 89th edition of the conference is titled “Securing Democracy and Sovereignty against a Thousand Cuts”. The Deputy Secretary General will speak at the panel “NATO 2030 and UK/Canada Cooperation”, together with the Honourable Harjit Sajjan, Minister of National Defence of Canada, and The Right Honourable Ben Wallace, Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom.

Participation du secrétaire général délégué de l’OTAN à la conférence d’Ottawa sur la sécurité et la défense (en ligne)

Le vendredi 12 mars 2021, le secrétaire général délégué de l’OTAN, M. Mircea Geoană, participera à la conférence annuelle d’Ottawa sur la sécurité et la défense.

La 89e édition de cette conférence est intitulée « Protéger la démocratie et la souveraineté contre mille coupures ». Le secrétaire général délégué prendra la parole pendant le panel intitulé « OTAN 2030 et coopération entre le Royaume-Uni et le Canada », aux côtés de deux autres conférenciers, à savoir M. Harjit Sajjan, ministre canadien de la Défense nationale, et M. Ben Wallace, ministre de la Défense du Royaume-Uni.
