Official Space Weather Advisory issued by NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center Boulder, Colorado, USA SPACE WEATHER ADVISORY OUTLOOK #21-23 2021 May 23 at 9:36 p.m. MDT (2021 May 24 0336 UTC) **** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK **** Summary For May 17-23 R1 (Minor) radio blackouts occurred on 22-23 May due to flare activity from Region 2824. G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm levels occurred on 20 May due to coronal hole high speed stream activity. Outlook For May 24-30 There is a chance for further R1 (Minor) radio blackouts on 24-30 May due to flare potential from Region 2824. G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm levels are likely on 25-27 May with G2 (Moderate) levels likely on 26 May due to the arrival of multiple CMEs from 22-23 May. Data used to provide space weather services are contributed by NOAA, USAF, NASA, NSF, USGS, the International Space Environment Services and other observatories, universities, and institutions.
