Official Space Weather Advisory issued by NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center Boulder, Colorado, USA SPACE WEATHER ADVISORY OUTLOOK #22-3 2022 January 16 at 5:23 p.m. MST (2022 January 17 0023 UTC) **** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK **** Summary For January 10-16 An R1 (Minor) solar radiation storm was observed on 14 Jan from an active region beyond the NE limb. G2 (Moderate) geomagetic storms were observed on 14 Jan and G1 (Minor) geomagetic storms were observed on 15 and 16 Jan due to negative polarity coronal hole high speed stream influence coupled with possible transient effects. No other significant space weather storms were observed during the summary period. Outlook For January 17-23 No significant space weather storms are expected during the outlook period. Data used to provide space weather services are contributed by NOAA, USAF, NASA, NSF, USGS, the International Space Environment Services and other observatories, universities, and institutions.
