Official Space Weather Advisory issued by NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center Boulder, Colorado, USA SPACE WEATHER ADVISORY OUTLOOK #22-5 2022 January 30 at 8:42 p.m. MST (2022 January 31 0342 UTC) **** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK **** Summary For January 24-30 An R1 (Minor) radio blackout event (M1 flare) was observed on 29 Jan. No other significant space weather storms were observed during the summary period. Outlook For January 31-February 6 A G2 (Moderate) geomagnetic storm is expected on 02 Feb due to the arrival of a full halo CME that left the Sun on 29 Jan. A G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm is expected on 05 Feb due to recurrent CH HSS activity. No other significant space weather storms are expected for the outlook period. Data used to provide space weather services are contributed by NOAA, USAF, NASA, NSF, USGS, the International Space Environment Services and other observatories, universities, and institutions.
