SUBJ: AY23 ENLISTED PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT (EPM) ROADSHOW SOLICITATION
A. ALCGENL 044/22, ENLISTED PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT ASSIGNMENT YEAR 2023
KICK OFF
1. In accordance with Reference (A), EPM-2 is soliciting for units
interested in receiving Assignment and Career Development
Presentations in preparation for Assignment Year 2023 (AY23).
2. Beginning in Spring 2022, EPM-2 Assignment Officers (AOs) and
Central Assignment Coordinators are available to deliver personnel
management overview presentations and career counseling.
3. LT Kim Jenish is this season’s Roadshow Coordinator. Commands
requesting a unit visit, VTC, or Microsoft Teams webinar should email
Kim.L.Jenish@uscg.mil NLT 31 May 2022. Requests must include:
A. Command point of contact:
B. Names of units expected to attend (if submitting a consolidated
request):
C. Estimated number of participants:
D. Preferred and alternate dates for presentation:
E. Preferred AO rating(s):
4. If a member is tour complete or intends on taking the Service Wide
Examination, they should attend this informative presentation to
assist in career progression. EPM-2 highly encourages commands to
maximize attendance at these invaluable opportunities for the enlisted
workforce.
5. A wide array of topics will be covered, including enlisted
assignments, transfer requests, career progression, separations,
High Year Tenure, and the Senior Enlisted Continuation Board. These
presentations are not rating specific and benefit all enlisted
personnel regardless of rating or tour completion date.
6. Commands/members interested in attending a webinar, VTC or
identifying an onsite Roadshow in their area can access the CG
Portal Roadshow calendar located at https://cglink.uscg.mil/8785e676.
A. Due to limited internet bandwidth capacity, commands with multiple
members of a specific rating are encouraged to collaborate and have
members attend the webinars together.
