Official Space Weather Advisory issued by NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center Boulder, Colorado, USA SPACE WEATHER ADVISORY OUTLOOK #22-35 2022 August 28 at 8:04 p.m. MDT (2022 August 29 0204 UTC) **** SPACE WEATHER OUTLOOK **** Summary For August 22-28 (R1-Minor) Radio Blackouts were observed on 25-28 Aug with (R2-Moderate) Radio Blackouts observed on 26 and 28 Aug. This flare activity was the result of flare activity from two separate regions on the disk. (S1-Minor) solar radiation storms were observed on 27 Aug due to major flare activity from a geoeffective region of the disk. Outlook For August 29-September 4 (R1-Minor) Radio Blackouts are likely through the outlook period due to large, potential flare producing regions on the disk. There is a chance for a (S1-Minor) solar radiation storm during the outlook period due to a geoeffective , flare producing region on the disk. Data used to provide space weather services are contributed by NOAA, USAF, NASA, NSF, USGS, the International Space Environment Services and other observatories, universities, and institutions.
