Allies agreed NATO’s civil and military budgets for 2023 at a meeting of the North Atlantic Council on Wednesday (14 December 2022). The civil budget is set at €370.8 million, and the military budget is set at €1.96 billion, representing a 27.8% and 25.8% increase, respectively, over 2022.

2022 saw another plentiful honey harvest at NATO Headquarters. Two beehives were first installed on the premises in 2020, with an additional two added since due to the success of the honey production.

On 12 December 2022, the NATO Military Committee visited the NATO Communications and Information Agency in The Hague, the Netherlands. During the visit, the Military Committee was briefed on current and future NCI Agency work and challenges.
