NATO Secretary General to visit Germany

On Monday, 19 June, and Tuesday, 20 June 2023, the NATO Secretary General, Mr. Jens Stoltenberg, will travel to Berlin and Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

On Monday, in Berlin, he will meet with the Chancellor of Germany, Mr. Olaf Scholz, and hold a bilateral meeting with the Foreign Minister of Germany, Mrs. Annalena Baerbock. The Secretary General will also speak at the Day of Industry, organised by the Federation of German Industries (BDI).

On Tuesday, Mr. Stoltenberg will travel to Jagel Air Base, to attend the Distinguished Visitors’ Day of the exercise Air Defender 2023, together with the German Defence Minister, Mr. Boris Pistorius. German-led Air Defender 2023 is the largest air deployment exercise in NATO’s history.

Secretary General Stoltenberg and Minister Pistorius will also visit the Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft (FFG) and the Navy Academy in Mürwik.
