On Wednesday 21 June 2023, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will take part in a transatlantic conversation on climate and security, together with Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy / Vice-President of the European Commission, John Kerry, US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, and Frans Timmermans, First Vice-President of the European Commission.
The discussion will be moderated by Heather Grabbe, Senior Advisor of the Open Society Foundations. Ian Lesser, Vice-President of GMF South and Executive Director of the Brussels Office of the German Marshall Fund of the United States, will give an introduction.
The event is organised by the German Marshall Fund of the United States and will be held at TownHall Europe, Square de Meeus 5, Brussels.
In-person participation in the event is limited to invited guests. The conversation, starting at 15:30 CEST, will be streamed live on the NATO website.
