NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg chaired a virtual meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council at the level of defence ministers on Friday (19 April 2024), to address Ukraineâs urgent need for air defences and other military aid. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy briefed Allies on the situation on the battlefield and Ukraineâs urgent needs.

In Tunis, Admiral Bauer met with the political leadership and military officers and delivered a speech at the War College. He also visited Bizerte Air Base. Tunisia is a long standing partner, joining the Mediterranean Dialogue almost 30 years ago.
