From 19 until 23 May 2024, Chair of the NATO Military Committee Admiral Rob Bauer visited Colombia upon the invitation of its Chief of Defence General Helder Fernan Giraldo Bonilla. The goal of the visit was to discuss the military cooperation between NATO and Colombia, which started in 2015 and intensified in 2017 when Colombia became one of NATOâs global partners.

The NATO Logistics Committee, NATO's principal high-level body dealing with logistics, met at NATO Headquarters in Brussels on 21-22 May 2024. Alliesâ discussions focused on how to implement NATOâs defence plans, which will ensure that NATO can continue to deter and defend by moving forces and equipment to the right place and at the right time.
