On Tuesday, 1 October 2024, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenbergâs tenure will come to an end. He will be succeeded by Mr Mark Rutte, former Prime Minister of the Netherlands.
A series of events to mark the transition of mandate from Mr Stoltenberg to Mr Rutte will take place at NATO Headquarters that morning, beginning at 09:00 CEST.
