Jeffrey S. Nesbit is
an architect, founding director of the research group Grounding Design, and a professor at Temple University. His research focuses on processes of urbanization, infrastructure, and the evolution of "technical lands." His latest book, Ground Control: A Design
History of Technical Lands and NASAâs Space Complex, was published in 2024.
