SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Spend Your Summer with NASA History

Are you a college student interested in the history of space exploration? If so, we invite you to apply for a summer internship with the NASA History Office.


The NASA History Office is offering internships at several NASA centers this summer. Be sure to submit your application before the deadline on February 27.


History Internship at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center


The selected intern will contribute directly to documenting NASA's institutional memory by conducting original historical research, preparing historical narratives, and helping preserve the voices and experiences behind major spaceflight programs.


Core internship activities include:

  • Original research and writing
  • Oral history interviews
  • Working with the NASA Archives
  • Collaborating with historians, archivists, and other NASA professionals
