NATO Secretary General to visit Türkiye

On 21 and 22 April 2026, the NATO Secretary General, Mr Mark Rutte, will visit Ankara, Türkiye.

The Secretary General will meet the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Hakan Fidan and the Minister of National Defence, General Yaşar Güler and visit a defence industrial facility.

There will be no media opportunity.

Photographs will be available on the NATO website after the event.
