NATO Secretary General to visit Montenegro

On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, the NATO Secretary General, Mr Mark Rutte, will visit Podgorica, Montenegro.

The Secretary General will meet the President, Mr Jakov Milatović, the Prime Minister, Mr Milojko Spajić, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ervin Ibrahimović, the Minister of Defence, Mr Dragan Krapović, and other officials.

He will also engage with students at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Montenegro.

12:25 (CEST) Joint press conference by the NATO Secretary General with the Prime Minister of Montenegro

  • The joint press conference will be streamed live on the NATO website, on NATO News on YouTube and also made available to EBU News Exchange.
