NATO Secretary General to visit the United States of America

From 23 to 25 June 2026, the NATO Secretary General, Mr Mark Rutte, will visit Washington D.C.

On Wednesday 24 June, the Secretary General will meet with the President of the United States, Mr. Donald J. Trump, at the White House. He will also meet​ with senior Administration officials.

The Secretary General will join the E5 meeting virtually from Washington DC.

On Thursday 25 June, Mr Rutte will meet with Members of Congress and take part in a discussion hosted by the Atlantic Council.

  • The engagement will be streamed live on the NATO website and NATO News on YouTube and made available to EBU News Exchange.
     
  • Transcript of the Secretary General’s remarks, as well as pictures, will be available on the NATO website . Video will be available for free download from the NATO Multimedia Portal after the event.
