Tensions flared in Mira Road after a video of a policeman with a pig went viral amid a dispute over goats kept in a housing society for Bakrid. The municipal corporation removed the goats, and police maintained a heavy presence. Local leaders called for animal sacrifices only at designated sites, with some Hindu groups protesting with pigs.
