Deep-layer northwesterly flow will overspread much of the central
U.S., with surface high pressure and associated cooler temperatures
spilling southward across the northern Plains. With no clear signals
for overlapping dry and breezy conditions anywhere across the CONUS,
any wildfires-spread threats that materialize should remain brief
and localized.
