Press Briefing

The NATO Spokesperson will hold a pre-ministerial press briefing in Brosio Room (NATO HQ) at 14h00. Mr. Patrick Auroy, NATO Assistant Secretary General For Defense Investment (DI) and Ludwig Decamps, expert on Missile Defence from the NATO Defence Investment Division will provide a background update on Missile Defence and Smart Defence issues.

This briefing is NOT opened to television cameras.

The transcript will be provided on the NATO website after the event.

Accreditation
Journalists holding a valid permanent NATO media pass will have access as for a Ministerial Meeting. Media representatives not in possession of a valid permanent NATO media pass and wishing to attend the event are invited to request accreditation directly at the main entrance of NATO, on 1st February, starting from 13h00. They will have to present an ID and a valid national press card.

Those media representatives not in possession of a valid national press card are invited to send a signed letter from their editor to NATO Press and Media Service, not later than Wednesday 1st February, 10h00 (fax +32.2707.1399; email: press@hq.nato.int ).
