Well what do you think of the above.<br />Its seems to be Australia wide at the Moment, what should we do to have nice gardens and save water or are the councils trying to grab a fast buck and use a water shortage just for a excuse to make more $$$. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/default/confused.gif" />

Yes this is a big problem where we live. I'm in the process of removing over 150 Water drinking plants and replacing them with the opposite. And they look good to. We have to do it otherwise we will run out of water. I hate when I see my neighbour hosing the concrete driveway with a sprinkler and he is not even home. What a waste!.

i our area we have two water systems<br /><br />one is normal portable water <br />on is Recycled water <br /><br />it is conected to the toilets and to the garden taps<br />you can hose to your harts content its made from shit water great for the garden high in phosphates<br /><br /><br />more councils should be adopting beter systems like this <br /><br /><br />end of line

I remember reading somewhere that Australia doesn't want to use desalinization unless they HAVE to because of the noise they create... I'd gladly sacrifice silence for water

any thing can be made to run silence its all to do with how $$$$$ they want to spend <br /><br />desalinization is then way to go pleanty of salt water for portable water <br /><br />Malta has been doing it for years !<br /><br />and recycled for the shitters and garden <br />even wash the car with it and shimmy with portable water of run the recycled with a filter<br /><br /><br />end of line

Its getting worst by the day.<br />I have to wash my new car in the garage to stop the dobers dobing me in and yes I use buckets.

No , I live on a suburban block of land ( 1000 sqm - quarter acre )<br />Approx cost $2000.
