TPG
I'm happy with you but I'm starting to hear some rumours that after their contract is up you're forcing people to either join the lesser plan for the same amount of money(512/128) or for the 1500 service you are slugging them more, A LOT MORE!!! .
I will wait until my contract is up to see what happens.

Just go and read the whirlpool forums on this Its full of decent from TPG customers. All I can say is they better not try to force existing customers on new and more expensive plans

Its simple just download anything. If its downloads at 150 K per second you are still on 1500, if it d/loads at 50 K a second you are on 512.

Mine coming up as over 2 mbps. on a 1500 service
Posted By: abebabe Re: TPG - Sat 22 Oct 2005 06:44:AM
I can confirm this rumor is true. If you want to keep the 1500/256 deal it will cost you 70 bucks a month

Its a pity
Posted By: Boring Re: TPG - Sat 22 Oct 2005 09:53:PM
You cant blame TPG , it was always going to happen. They made a marketing plan to offer a service that was cheaper than cost to try and cement themselves as the biggest ISP in Australia.

If you were lucky enough to take advantage of it , you did well , but it was never going to last. TPG users will be paying the price everyone else pays.

A word of warning to those churning to other providers , avoid signing up with any small companbies reselling services for the Veridas network. They are cheap and nasty and you will regret it.
