Just been told and I have no reason to believe its false that DoCS use Centrelink to find out your last know address to hound you like a dog.
Typical fucking government as this is the way the CSA found me via Centrelink, yep they found me and forced me to pay child maintenance on children which later I found weren't even mine and till today I have not received a zac back from anyone.
Typical.
I second I hate GOV DEPT's comment...when I was first involved with Dchs, they were trying to say that estranged hubby and I were lying about our separation when we were separated for months before they became involved...anyway Centrelink tried to have me breached for unbelievable breaches that were unheard of to have my dole cut...but I had the employment agency stand up for me to Centrelink and they had to take the breaches off...

If I had of been cut off I would have had no choice but to go back to my home with estranged hubby and then they would have used it against him!

bastards they are
plus conniving, theatrical, liars is a fav and manipulative! And that's probably putting it mildly!
I was forced out of my house so I applied for rent assistance + other and I got it $$.
They screwed me so legally I will get what I can.

ALL the gov depts are interlinked together....they are all covering each other's butts.....but it is all catching up on them.....and it is long past the time of hoping it will all go away....those self same invisible abusers in child safety can only look forward to a hell of a lot of civil suits.
they seem to think they are safe hiding them all....what a laugh.
I know audits are taking place in my area and further of paper work etc...for Centrelink and other government dept's.

thats why they do the same old dance.......remain silent....according to the magna carta and habeus corpus...this government have no power over the people.......it would be good if people were aware of that fact........is a sick society we live in , when those who are in a position to act , do not.
Isn't it in NSW that Silence is a sign of guilt.
I'm not sure if that Law was passed in NSW.

there ought to be the one law for the whole country......it is all a cop out, federal local whatever, they are all crims for doing this to children and their families.
Be careful what you wish for. At present it is good how some parents who are getting wind of what is about to happen (prior to any visit by docs, etc) can just up and leave into the next state. That is about the best advice someone can get these days - get your kids and yourself out of there and run!!
Did you know that the privacy act has limitations.
What can happen is that legal bodies can subpoena your details (past addresses, tax records any of that stuff) in court proceedings from other agencies. So therefore docs can obtain all sorts of details about you to paint a picture they are trying to portray about you.

I personally encountered this when I was scared of the father of my child and did a runner, moved house, silently listed etc etc - went to great lengths, sought legal assistance about all this.

And even after all that some months after the child was born I get a knock on the door. I answer the door. A man (baliff) says I am here looking for ............ I say that is me, but who are you and how did you find me? He replied and showed me where it stated that the father's solicitor had subpoened the address and other necessary detail from centrelink to tract me down to get papers served on me so that the father could then face me in court and apply for access to this child.
There was no proof that this 'father' was the biological father either.
This is scarey that this can happen. It never used to be able to occur. I believe that for eg victims of domestic violence could get a complete new identity and be safe. Not any more.

Yep and DOCS don't like it, They don't even like it when you move out of the area and move into another area covered by another DOCS dungeon.

Who know maybe they don't like the idea of handing over all your case files over to another CSO in another area, Why they might be unlucky and strike a honest DOCS CSO that might start asking questions.
PS Do you know each DOCS supervisor has her or rarely his own paper shredder
Nothing surprises me about docs.
I think by placing all this on this forum that docs have to start to get more honest. Am I deluded?
It will get out to these docs offices to start looking at what is written on this site and they will have to start realising that they cannot keep up their lack of transparency and unethical practises.

they are tied because they are fully aware of what is going on and the gov will not act against itself
Don't they have to mandatorily report on risk of harm of any child when this is told to them? Who would they report this too when they're told a child in the care of the dept is at risk of harm b/c of being in the care of the dept?

Is anyone getting my drift of what could be pursued here?

THEY MAKE UP THEIR OWN LAWS AS THEY GO ALONG....BEST TO CONTACT THE PRIME MINISTER'S OFFICE THEN GO ONTO INFORM AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL.......FUNNY HOW THEY EXPECT EVERYONE ELSE TO FOLLOW PROTOCOL AND CANT DO THAT ONE THEMSELVES
Aah yes, DoCS have their finger in many pies.

They will access a child's school file for emergency phone numbers if they wish to speak to a child's biological relative but don't have any contact details. It's very sneaky.

Centrelink is also a central hub for anybody who acquires personal information about anybody. This is simply because Centrelink files contain more information than any other organization. A party will go to Centrelink before they go to the Electoral Roll or anywhere else.

Centrelink know if you divorce... They know the date of your Decree Nisi and your Decree Absolute. They will also know if you filed for Bankruptcy... Centrelink has more information on Australians than we realise.
