I applaud The Prime Minister of Australia Kevin Rudd in the proposal of introducing internet filters to stop anyone looking at these horrid Child Pornography sites around the World.
We have also discussed this with others and they also agree that all this and any type of filth is not needed and should be removed from the internet here in Australia.
We also agreed that sites like this that are dead against the Department Of Child Safety should be banned or added to the filter list as it give a bad impression of what Child Safety is all about.
I will be meeting up with some child safety officers and some advocates next week and will be talking about this, how we want sites like this banned, that are so biased against a government department that works to protect our children.

If we were all bad people we wouldn't need a site like this to communicate with others in similar situations.
Just because we are sharing our experiences and opinions with each other doesn't mean that we dont believe in child safety.

I agree that child pornography site should be banned
But, here, we are just voicing our own opinions, you cant ban that.
If the government bans sites like aus-city it will only cause people to become more frustrated as well as proving that the government has something big to hide in the area of child protection, other wise the government and people like you wouldn't care that we are discovering more and more badly handled cases, and supporting each other through times of need.

Please realise that CSO's are just people on the ground level. And most of them are young, inexperienced. The corrupt CSO and their ilk are probably people who have very little control over their own lives so therefore lord over others and are driven in turn by some corrupt supervisors.

There would be people who work for the docs who have never had any contact with any parent and are so high up on the ladder and are so far removed from the false allegations and lies.
And it is these ones who would look at placing bans/ filters (whatever) on these sort of sites, not some jumped up full of themselves little CSO type person.

It would be like me meeting with my fellow RN's to discuss how to change the current health system. Yeah right. There is a channel of reporting. First their are team meetings (And PS they have them once per month in these offices - I know for a fact, so you can quote me on this) then things/ issues go on a further up the chain of reporting to manager's meetings, then their is something that would be like a district management meeting and governance meetings. then somewhere up the ladder meetings and reports to the minister for that area.

Hmm, I've yet to come across a parent who would permit their child to watch porn on the net or to download pornographic pics... The average parent does have common sense in that regard.

The only thing the department needs to be protected from is the truth coming out and our children when they grow up and sue the department for all their wrong doings. eg not reuniting them with their families etc.
So many of todays children have been and continue to be hurt by the department, are you doing anything to stop that? Yet our discussions about our opinions towards those who are hurting our childen and reading about our situations offends you? my opinion is this: Whatever I say here or on any other forums/Blogs, I will Stand up in a court of law and do the same.

Now what gets me, Is that within this department is what I class as,a person that is fair,is honest and is caring.
