I have been checking out the Hot Spot Map on the p4p site and I was wondering if it outlines the most problematic (evil) offices or if it is just outlining where some are.

I think it's outlining where the most evil ones are...but pity the picture wasn't for Qld state and not just Brisbane...never mind...I like it...

Rainbow has created a 'hot spot' map on her power4parents webiste that highlights certain Child Safety Offices. I was just wondering what the importance of these specific offices was.

http://www.power4parents.org/hotspotmap.htm

Here it is...I know Ipswich CSSC would have found it! If they haven't and any other CSSC well there it is for all the DChS officers to look for!

Pine Rivers and Mermaid Beach should have flames coming off them.

Justice
I don't think there is sufficient room for that.
Maybe Rainbowchaser should do another Map and call it South East Corner and show the hot spots and where the bush fires are raging around Pine Rivers and Mermaid Beach area.

Go for it Rainbow, I'd like to see dat superhappy

Yeah I will.

I'm out of commission for the next few days though... My eldest brother is in the ICU at the Gold Coast Hospital and his wife is 8 months pregnant - so it's a double jeopardy and I'm trying to support her so she doesn't pop while being there for my brother as well.

I'm going to take up where I left off once the home life is sorted out. My brother is doing well, so hopefully he'll be moved off the ICU in the next day or so.

I'm so tired. I've had to gain as much info from the ICU staff about my brother as well as put in place an action plan just in case my sister-in-law goes into early labour. I've just come home from 6 hours at the hospital and I'm going to head to my bed.

That is amazing - firstly how did you manage to do that on a computer?

And secondly it really looks to be a coastal thing.

It would seem that you have more of a chance of having a child taken off you if you reside in South East Queensland.

I used PhotoShop. The map was easy to do, but keeping it viable without messing up town names and such was the hard part.

The fact that the majority of the offices are coastal is simply a population thing... Throughout history people have moved to where fresh water can be found... Hence the fact that people tend to live more around coastal areas than further inland.

Further inland would mean living on bore or tank water and the average person prefers fresh running water.

That in turn means DoCS offices are going to crop up where the people are.

True, but water may be "ripened" by very cost effective means....but the control freaks dont want the public to know this.

Of course.

I was simply using history as an example.
