Took the family for a walk on christmas eve and on the ground we heard some squawking and we found a baby kookaburra. Its eyes were still closed and it hardly had any feathers on it. The first photo below is a week after we had the bird. Its eyes are open and its feathers are starting to grow. What I will do is I will add a photo every week to see the difference.

A week later its has grown.
