can u tell me how many fingers from the bottom screw
Posted By: LAZER Re: Asiasat 2 - Fri 18 Feb 2005 12:53:AM
best way i reckon is get the tv and ur reciever out side and watch the signal and quality levels til u pikc up sumthin enter a frequency in ur box first then start roaming the sky with ur dish in a westerly position

BTW im moving this into the FTA forum as this is in the UBI forum

[ 17. Honestly I use a BUNNINGS angle dangle meter, this can only be used for a prime focus dish.
Find your elevation for Asiasat 2 from Lyngsat say for Sydney set your dish to it correctly and all you have to worry about is the azimith (left and right).
Posted By: sookeye06 Re: Asiasat 2 - Fri 18 Feb 2005 01:47:AM
Bunnings??...whats that.??...lol..havnt herd of it

sookeye I give you one tip
LNB position is defferent then pas8 lnb position. You must playaround with LNB to get the good signal on AsiaSat 3
Posted By: sookeye06 Re: Asiasat 2 - Sun 20 Feb 2005 09:05:PM
ok but what is the LNB freq...ex.11300 ..51150..?...can u plz give me the correct details about asiasat3 if u can thnx
Posted By: LAZER Re: Asiasat 2 - Sun 20 Feb 2005 09:11:PM
the lnb LO freq is the same for every satellite its 5150 doesnt change for each satellite its always the same 5150
Posted By: mr_mixer Re: Asiasat 2 - Sun 20 Feb 2005 10:12:PM
disable the DiseqC.If you bring the tv next to antenna you will find the frequans. To get better frequans, when you spot the sat playaround with LNB.
AsiaSat3S 3706 V 6000 LNB freq 5150
frequans is strong here .Put this frequans on your receiver and try to moove your dish.
