New Spanish Channel PAS 8 12286 28800 3/4 New Spanish channel (Utilisima) FTA at the moment 12286 28800 3/4 VPID 2021 Aud 2022. This replaces the Test card that has been on here for at least a month.

New Channel appeared on Pas 8 12286H 28800 3/4 CanalSur Vid 2031 Aud2032 Also appears that they are transmitting the following channels on two transponders. 12526H 28800 3/4 TV Chile TVE International Asia-Africa DW-TV (encrypted) Antenna Pacific They are also now transmitting on 12326 28800 3/4 as well. TV Chile Vid 1011 Aud 1012 TVE International 1021 1022 DW-TV (encrypted) 1031 1032 Antenna Pacific 1041 1042

i dont think so SelecTV are plucking FTA channels and encrypting them so RIK would be a big job for them to bring over ERT is already on B3 and T10 Ant1 is the same just getting it off NSS6 no need to transport it from Europe as its already available here

But Rik is on B3!!? or is that only for UBI?/

UBI is only allowed to use it they have permission from RIK to do so and UBI are paying for the full transportation of it From Europe to Australia

Also, are there transponders on Pas8 that aren't being used?

It's on the same Transponder (24) as Russian channels that are on Russian mux with HorizonWorld + http://www.horizontv.com.au/ Channel one, RTR Planeta,NTV America, RTVI and RTVI+. However it is not mentioned on their website. (I am sure if it was to be part of their package they would certainly be advertising the fact. "You would assume anyway") I currently subscribe to their package. It has taken the channel that was used for TV chile which has moved to other transponders on PAS8

The MY TVPLUS site says there contract for NTV Mir starts January 1st 2006 will be interesting to see if NTV on Horizons goes off that day??

It's 1st of January already, but NTV America still on PASS 8. May be this is the catch - MY TVPLUS was talking about NTV Mir but not NTV America?

TVCI now listed on Horizon World + in their package. I would imagine it won't be long before they encrypt it. http://www.horizontv.com.au/

Tv Plus, My tv plus, Plus My tv plus, Tv Minus + Tv Plus, and we won't forget Horizon world Tv plus. For me there are to many companies and nobody is suppling competition.

eurosport and eurosport news are completely different channels. don't mix them up.

Ah, I remember Eurosport, those were the days on I701. The days I actually liked looking at my wife after I seen some 22 year old hunny taking it til her brains were going to pop out. Then watch some good old Eurosport, the soccer mainly was what I loved watching after my extra activities In all seriousness though this channel has alot of great sport content and I remember it providing a wider range than what Fox Sports had for the tennis, soccer and racing.

hi guys, I just figured out Eurosport is FTA (haven;t been this excited in a long while) Just wondering if you know if its Eurosport or Eurosport 2? HOw long has it been FTa, and is it just temporary? I have a sleepsless night ahead of me....

Whose providing those channels, Horizon TV?

I asked Horizon this very question yesterday. The lady though pleasant was very evasive in her answer. She only stated 'maybe' their will be new channels. You think if a paying client was ringing up to enquire about extra channels they would be wanting everyone to know that their bouquet of channels is increasing. (Word of mouth is free advertising !!)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Horizon seems to be the premiere choice in Russian entertainment. Why would any of these Russian channels go with a new company? Why would you want to split your potential audience between two providers. It's just stupid, and increases the risk of one of the companies going bust.

mytvplus also supply russian channels so this might mean there is 3 companies with russian nowLOL

Interesting the channels do not load up on my Manhattan 350 however they load up on my FTA receiver but say 'service not available yet'.

Tried again on my Horizon supplied Technosat 7000 - only Indian channels. They used to show lot of these stuff in Russian cinemas in old times, but girls were bigger <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" />

RTR Planeta (Russian) now on 12526H 28800 3/4 Vid 1021 Aud 1022 (ID Displays TV Espana but it's RTR.) What's happened to TVE Internacional ??

TVE is copyed on PAS8 a few times already Encryption happening soon thats what is going to happen

Or ENews might be Electronic News as in a Datacast channel with showing the news in Text as each language has its own Might be Euronews also will just have to wait and see i guess

We have 13K 12,286, 14K 12,326 and 19K 12,526. You can tell the SelecTV xpdrs by the symbol rate (28,800, 3/4). We were able to talk PAS into a more agressive roll-off than was traditionally used. So we get a little extra symbol rate than earlier adoptors who tend to be at 28,066. As for Greek 2 & 3 ....... I need to take an AWB on that one ... I know nothing ...... :-)

SelecTV prob can't announce the channels until their agreement has been signed.

NTV America and TVCI (Russian) have started FTA on PAS8 12606H 28066 3/4. They are also still broadcasting on 12726 28066 3/4. Looks like 12606 is set to become all Russian channels now that Zee TV has gone.
