new service on pas ????? TV CHILE ON it

got an email from TV chile which said : ESTIMADO RUBEN YA SE HA VUELTO MAS CONCRETA NUESTRA POSIBILIDAD DE VOLVER A AUSTRALIA. PANAMSAT, LA EMPRESA DUEÑA DEL SATÉLITE QUE NOS PERMITE LLEGAN A AUSTRALIA NOS HA CONTACTADO CON UNA EMPRESA OPERADORA QUE NOS DISTRIBUIRÁ. CUALQUIER INFORMACIÓN LA PUBLICAREMOS EN NUESTRA PÁGINA WWW.TVCHILE.CL means panamsat contacted them saying there was a distributor here in Australia that wanted their channel. now who could it be UBI (don;t think same mistake twice) , Foxtel, Globecast or a new service????

Like I said before you could get a shock and it might not be on Foxtel or Globecast. You are saying that TV Chile made a mistake by going on the TARBS platform????and they won't repeat that same mistake again. Its a pity that most people can't understand the difference between Voluntary Receivership and Forced receivership (bought on by PanAmSat)like what happened to TARBS. Most smart Companies and Channel providers know the real reason why TARBS was shafted and Like I said before I won't be surprised if UBI get 75% of their channels back and because the running cost will be considerably less they will be able to afford more and better quality channels.

nope what i ment was that if UBI was to put tvchile they would not go with panamsat but with a differet satellite thats all so if tvchile goes on panamsat then i don;t think it would be with UBI because i don;t think that the same mistake of going with an american satellite company would be repearted by UBI (formally knowns Tarbs) [ 10. just a question because i;am not sure. if UBI uses the same uplink satellite that was used at tarbs does that mean we don;t need to get on the roof to reposition the dish ??

Uruguay Your "X" TARBS dish is pointed at Pas 8, UBI will NEVER,NEVER, one more time NEVER be found on a PanAmSat Satellite, your dish will have to be moved, A birdie tells me NSS6 or Optus B3, thats a simple job. Regarding Pas and TV Chile there is no connection, TV Chile is in europe and can come into Australia Via NSS6. Phil Boulos and Lenfest what a connection$$$$$$$$$$$$.
