Look all. I don't mind helping you and for some of you I have invited into my house as total strangers and helped you and even supplied you with cups of tea and biscuits (and I don't charge), but what pisses me off is when I ask someone please give me your phone number so I can ring you in Brisbane of course to make an arrangement to come over to my place, they either give me their mobile or say to me can I have your phone number. If you don't trust me, or you are one of those sorts of people that are scared to give me your home phone number, just fuck off and leave me alone.
Phil

Phil
You help to many people, and they don't want to give you their phone number or mobile only for you to ring and they are coming to your house, I came to your house and I'm from Melbourne. Tell them to piss off.

Just the way society has become. There are plenty of good people out there, but there are some bad people too. I don't like it, it's just the way we've become.
I understand why some people are afraid. I have a friend who always has an open door policy, and he's a magnet for the scum of the earth. I've seen him get bitten more times than I can count.

I'm quite happy to help anybody who asks but even I've been stung. I don't stop helping people, I just change my tactics.
I often give out my mobile phone number, I don't have a home phone. It's a matter or convinence rather than security. I do however have two emails, one for trusted traffic and one for unverified.

I have helped 4 locals to set their boxes and dishes, I did not charge them, 3 of them found the Satellite themselves, the other I went over his place as he could not find the satellite and 10 minutes fixed that. Luckily he lived on the North side because all I would have asked was pick me up, and have a SAFE ladder to climb on the roof. He was a lucky one, the TARBS box worked on the first Transponder.
Phil

If your "X" TARB is coming up with channels encrypted and in the menu the time/Date is correct you are on the correct Satellite (Optus B3) If All your channels show "Not Authorised" its because your box is locked out, When UBI starts they will send a command in the Transport stream that will onlock all the boxes then ALL channels will be FTA for around 3 Months. I say it again (OOOOOOOHOOOOOO this is the 20th time I said this)Only when UBI becomes officially running than the 3 months or whatever the channels will stay Free To Air.
