From GlobeCast’s gateway in Singapore, the C-Band platform provides access to 70 million homes across 33 countries from its orbital position at 76.5° East, and offers an established neighborhood of premier programmers, including Animax, Disney, The Hallmark Channel and HBO. <br /><br />GlobeCast’s Singapore gateway serves as the uplink point to the Telstar 10 platform, and is connected by fiber to the company’s 14 other teleports and technical operations centers, thus ensuring one-hop seamless access to the platform from 5 continents. The all-inclusive service available on this platform includes encryption, multiplexing, uplink and space capacity. Playout services are also available. <br /><br />GlobeCast is prepared and eager to meet the rising demands of the Asian marketplace. The company’s new liaison office in Beijing is the fourth bureau for the company in Asia, and reflects China’s role as a key player for international media. GlobeCast Asia, the regional business unit of GlobeCast, is based in Singapore and currently also has liaison offices in New Delhi and Tokyo. <br /><br />The expansion of GlobeCast’s presence in Asia reflects the region’s rapid growth as a global economic force.
