Hi guys, i live in melb. and wonna watch a serbian TV's. Any chance of you helping me choose sat. eq. and rest of the stuf which goes with that. Keep in mind that I dont know sh*it about all this <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/default/frown.gif" />

No no, you did not understand! I'm exactly where I sholud be, in right section. I'm not a TARBS user. I wanted to purchase my own sat. dish etc. And I'm not asking for a free help. If you are neer by, come, talk to me, lets go by the things, set up the god damn thing and charge me for your knowledge, time and work, thats normal. Because every god damn satelite company I went and ask, they all sad to me "you can only watch HRT!". All Serbian channels that are currently FTA will get encrypted in the near future, don't waste your money on sat equipment.

yes there is but they will be encrypted soon so there is no use on spending money on sumthin that is goin to be temp and will get blocked or encrypted there is no other serbian channels <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" />

Like I sad when they became encrypted I'd rather pay directly to BKTV for example then to UBI. How is the rest of the world watch encrypted chanels? They pay, so will I. I wonna have my own dish and be able to choose myself what I want to see and not to be dependent of anybody else. Is there ANYBODY on this message board who is willing to help me with that? yep there is you cant pay the channels directly you have to pay there agents that the channels have have asigned which are UBI or Tv plus so you have no other choice but to join one of these componies or have nothing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" />

Ja, The signal from Serbian SatTV broadcasts doesn't just float to Australia. Companies like TVPlus, UBI, TARBS, whatever, have to pay one of the sat companies to grab the signal from Europe and then re-broadcast down here. Now that costs them and thats what they want to charge for. Not the original company whose station you want to watch

so... To protect themselves, after they start up their provision is to encrypt their signal and then charge you for subscription

People by DVB card instead ov normal recivers and go around that encrypted protection ..... you know how, I dont wonna start talking about that. I still wont my own dish!
