Hi, last night i received a SMS from Digiturk on my mobile.

Now, I have no idea how they managed to get my mobile number and i dont even subscribe to any turkish package? Is UBI passing numbers or something to them. This is what the msg reads

LIGTV'den bedava mac! www.digiturkwebtv.com/LigTV.aspx 'den bu haftanin maclarindan dilediginiz birini secin 1303359925746 kupon koduyla kaydiniizi yapin.

I'm not sure how DigiTurk would've got hold of your mobile number but I can assure you that UBI wouldn't be passing your details to DigiTurk since there is no commercial agreement with them.

Did you ever email or try to contact DigiTurk in the past?

no.. i have no reason to, i dont even understand turkish let alone try communicating with them and giving my mobile details

had another look on my phone today in regards to this message. It came from this number +447797706029
very strange..

German mobile number which I would say would be from DigiTurk Euro.
