Channnel D owner bought Star Tv (Turkish UEFA rights)

Channel D =DigiTurk Media Grup(Dogan media Grup) bought(0.307 billion dollars) Star TV (Turkish UEFA rights). I wonder UBI will add Star TV in Turkish pack ? [ 28. September 2005, 12:03 AM: Message edited by: mr_mixer ]

i very much doubt it mr_mixer, most of those things which Star TV has, foxtel has exclusive rights for australia <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/default/frown.gif" />

mr_mixer, Just because Star TV has the rights for the Turkish UEFA it doesn't mean they have the rights to show it in our region. It would be nice to see Star TV on UBI WORLD TV.

Show tv and NTV will show the 2. leg UEFA CUP games on Thursday morning.

Its all about $$$$$$$$$$ and how much they want and how much UBI can afford to pay.

lol....it's million not BILLION. that's a tv station not a space station.

UBI is wise with its dollars forget the millions, I haven't found a tree yet that grows the stuff and If you do please`let myself and the rest of us all know.

Alcatron ,The part I want ,The part Foxtes has no rights <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" /> I `v got Optus Vision .If UBI brings StarTV with the rights.I`ll cancel the Optus and be a member for UBI. Will see in the future...

Sharp, if you do the maths 0.307 billion means 307 million.

I`ve been telling you read it again ,but you ignore it and keep on going on about it. After fixing (it was a spelling error)you still insist. Studying 4 years in at Uni, I can tell what is the difference between e billion and million. I only lived here Au for six years and i'm pretty damn proud of myself for being able to read, write, and communicate.

yeah, mr_mixer you should be proud of your self - Oh and just a comment about Star TV, i hope that UBI to add it to the turkish package. if they do then the turkish package would be complete (what more could we ask for) and as for the champ league rights Star probabbly wouldnt be able to show the games in AUS so lets just stop going on about it.
