I was told today that ubi will have new macedonian channels next week has anyone heard the same or is this lie

Unless the new transponder gets turned on i don't see were else they could go as space is pretty tight right now

So no more spots left on the satelite no.

Ha Ha Ha!! But the Problem is they will be up there but there will not be enough room on the current carriers on B3 to fit all theses channels. Mr B are you reading this!! Yes!!! get rid of some of your Crappy Arabic channels to fit all the new Greek and Balkans channels coming very soon.

ok so this is some good news for UBI bad for TV plus as they were I think trying to attract some maco customers...well too bad now..lets still wait

Let Tv Plus only have the Serb channels for now But I know what UBI are going to do in the near future. Do you honestly think that M Boulos is giving up the fight for the SERBS!!!! A BIG FAT NO!!!!

The main focus would be Bosnian, Croatian, Macedonian and Serbian.

Lots of dirty dealings going on in the pay tv industry and most of it is happening overseas.

They would flick over to them once in a while, but I don't think they'll stick around to watch

What is Best of Macedoina channel? is it based on any network? or is it a totally new channel?broadcasting all sorts of shows? none of these have web sites, so they are new start up satellite tv channels? correct?

Once again what bother me is I know 5 Serbian families in Australia and none have subscribes to TV plus yet. why?. and they all had TARBS, I will ring them one day and ask this.

Maybe its just economics Mr D? with petrol prices up, and general expenses up..people maybe can't justify spending the 60 bucks a month? We were watching a lot of these channels at my mates place, when they were FTA. I know they got use to the idea of not having to pay subscriptions? the humax is coaster for the kettle now. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/default/smile.gif" />

Well I watched Best of Macedonia channel last night on Telstar 10 - the program only consists of broadcasting the rather beautiful landscape of Macedonia (mountains, lakes, etc). No commentary, just music in the background. As for K-15, all they have playing is a 30-second commercial with inserts from shows produced by K-15 in the past 10 years. And this commercial is in a loop - it keeps getting repeated over and over. Currently there are 3 Macedonian radio channels broadcasting - Radio Makedonija, City Radio, and I'm not sure what the third one was. My receiver picked up a total of 13 (yes: thirteen) radio channels. The remaining 10 have yet to be filled. So I'd say the Macedonians are pretty lucky - not only will they have at least 3 TV programs, but they will also get lots of radio stations. What about the Serbs and the Croats? I say it's high time for some Serbian and Croatian programming on UBI!

"Best of Macedonia" is government funded channel for promoting Macedonian Tourist attractions, etc.. How do you know? Best of Macedonia could be programming from the different parts of Macedonia. Do you have any proof of this being a Government channel.. Holidays in Greece Channel is a Greek Tourist channel and is available over Europe..

I guess you woudl have to test a channel first, before you send programming to it. Look at what 7 & 9 do with their HD feeds on digital.

Liski, any macedonian radio and when broadcast them channel K15, The best macedonian.

Yes there will be Macedonian radio channels as well. At the moment K-15 and Best of Makedonia are being tested.
