Heya, just a quick note. I'm following some key euro 2008 qualifier matches. This is normally shown on, lets say, MKTV channel. Last game was cut 2 mins into startup apparently. The net game is wed night / thu morning, shown live on MKTVsat. Will UBI cut this game as well, and if so whats the benefit of keeping UBI. My 6 month contract is over soon, if they keep not showing things of interest theni cant see the contract being renewed.

sachz,

If MKTV don't have the broadcasting rights to show the game in Australia or anywhere else for that matter then the game will be cut by MKTV.

Im guessing MKTV does not have the rights as Setanta sports will show the match live. Check Setanta sports program

sachz,

I would check to make sure that the ad that you saw/heard about probably said "Program 1 TV Guide" which is for MTV1 and not MKTVSat.

sachz,

Sorry to hear that but it's been the same story since the start of UBI.

I've been advised that the match was aired on MKTVSat!
