PINK is now with TV+ - AUS-CITY Message Forums

Dear Viewers Just a short note to advise that PINK PLUS has signed exclusive with TV PLUS broadcasting on the PAS8 Satalitte Effective immediately the PINK PLUS signal has been switched of on the UBI Optus B3 platform and all prospective viewers will need to switch their dishes to Panamsat PAS8. YES! I was right whole time. Where is now D who banned me two times because I was saying exactly this! UBI will keep Arabic channels and TV+ will get Balkan and East Europe channels and that is the end of the story for thieves and brainwashers. Is there any legal ground for demanding compensation from UBI because they advertised Balkan package and did not have any contracts for that? There must be a lot of Balkan people who signet with that mafia company only because their false advertisements. PS Satfreak, what is happening with new customers who wants to sign with TV+, why they have to wait till mid january for new instalation?

Thanks for that info. satfreak, Looks like I and many of my friends have made a right decission by signing up with TV+ before Dec-20. As I said after I signed up, IT IS NOW VERY IMPORTANT FOR ALL AND I MEAN ALL OF SERBIAN COMUNITY TO FULLY SUPPORT TV+ . This company should be given every chance to bring to us as many as possible of TV and Radio channels from former Yu. It is important to remember that Serbian people run TV+ and they know best what Serbian comunity wants to watch in Aus.

A quick question for satfreak, On PINK site they are stating that both PINK+ and PINK EXTRA will be exclusive with TV+. When can we expect to see PINK EXTRA now that PINK is exclusively available from TV+??

Ja Please understand that nothing is done overnight in this industry. Those who think that companies that are in in for the long haul can do things overnight or at the drop of the had are dreaming.. Companies that promise a quick fix will be gone just as quickly. Please understand that TV+ is launching a international grade platform that is scalable to millions of customers and can deliver services on a global scale. First step is to secure content then deliver the conditional access system to support up to 100,000 subscribers on the PAS8 platform. TV+ is going with Irdeto and needs to ensure the Settop boxes are of a international standard and are fully secure. None of this Fox$el Irdeto 1 Gold Card scams of the past no TV+ is launching a very secure platform that normally takes 5 - 6 months to install, deliver and another 3 months to test. Thirdly get the boxes out to customers and do installs etc. TV+ are trying to cut as many corners are reasonabally possible and it is hoped that nothing will be missed otherwise there will be issues and none of us want to have settop box recalls etc.. Anyway TV+ is doing their best to deliver the services in as quick as possible time frames.. I hope this infomation helps, further because of the holiday season all manufacturing is held back in Tiawan and TV+ will be doing our best to get boxes here before 14th of Jan

...If this is correct and Pink Plus has signed exclusive rights, then that’s the stupidest thing they could have done! Idiots don't realise that UBI can tell them to get stuffed when TV+ goes under, and I have a suspicion it is not as strong as UBI (unfortunately). I hope Pink misses out on business in the near future, if nothing then to teach them a lesson, that is if this exclusive deal is true. If BN is stupid enough to follow suite then the same fate I wish to them. I am disgusted in both UBI and TV+!!! These threats to channel providers to sign exclusive rights are stupid and yes, they both did it. I think from memory UBI started it, not that that maters now. But, you know what? We are the biggest losers!!! Now it’s up to us to voice our disgust at what the providers are doing. Trust me folk, we will pay for this, no one else! …food for thought!

reuder TV+ will be bringing former TARBS english content once TV+ has 8000 - 10,000 customers. Expect to see all back except E$PN Cheers

I remember Tarbs tried to do this by expanding into the USA but they just lost millions on the Galaxy 10R platform. I hope that TV+ will be smarter than Tarbs was.

Nik no such plans as expanding to USA... just operating a scalable platform to allow for growth..

I hear that UBI are picking up a FTA feed from PAS8 ILLEGALY, looks like lawyers may have to cut their hollidays short?? I think that satfreak should clarify this situation.

i'm not sure if it's already been mentioned, but Tvplus also has the rights to PinkExtra, and will be available soon!
